Matthew Connor is a professional aviator, based in the South of England, with over a decade of professional flying experience in multiple theatres of operation: From regional airline work in Scotland, through support of oil exploration at remote airstrips in North Africa, to his current work as an instructor/examiner and line pilot on business jets. He also draws on experience as a flight operations assistant in the R.Aux.A.F. and a lifetime spent surrounded by general aviation.
He holds both an EASA ATPL and an FAA ATP certificate.
Between 2012 and 2016 he worked as an SFI on the Learjet 40/45 series, as well as an FAA instructor pilot under CFR 14 Part 142. He was also designated by the FAA as a TCE with certification authority.
Since Summer 2016 he has been flying the Bombardier Global (6000, 5000, XRS), and holds a TRI on type (simulator only).
Currently Matthew is available for ad hoc work as a line pilot (EASA or FAA), SFI or seat-supporter on the following aircraft:
- Bombardier Global (Both Classic and Vision flight decks)
- Learjet 40/45
Matthew also has many years of experience on the DHC-6 Twin Otter as a line pilot and Training Captain, but is not presently current on type.
